Samsung Galaxy S25 5G: Samsung finally launched S25 – 5G: Introducing the newly-released flagship smartphone by Samsung, the Galaxy S25 5G, adding another evolutionary chapter to Samsung’s illustrious S-series collection.
The latest device continues Samsung’s legacy of combining ground-breaking innovation with stunning design, while also addressing some needs in the market to offer an all-around powerful experience.
Refined Visual Identity
The Galaxy S25 5G’s design is also a subtle refinement: it has squarer edges that remind us of the Note range – nobody can say we’d tell you the group chat but, it maintains the lovely glass sandwich design, with Corning’s newest Gorilla Glass Victus 3 protection.
The gadget is available in a selection of four eye-catching colourways: Phantom Black, Titanium Silver, Emerald Green and a fresh new Sunset Orange which shifts colours depending on which angle light strikes its surface.
Measuring only 7.6mm thick and weighing 168 grams, the S25 5G feels surprisingly lightweight with a larger battery pack built in.
The phone keeps its IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, so it can be submerged in 1.5m of fresh water for 30 minutes without damage.
Display Excellence
To the front, you will find a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a variable refresh rate from of both 1Hz and 120Hz.
You get the best of both worlds–full speed, always vivid imagery, but with intelligent scaling when you’re doing a lot of smooth scrolling.
That panel can get up to 2,600 nits of brightness, so it should be easy to see, even in direct sunlight.
Samsung has trimmed the bezels even more to produce a solid 91.3% screen-to-body ratio.
The screen meets the company’s usual high-color-accuracy standard, with HDR10+ content supported and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
Photography Powerhouse
The camera setup is the main highlight as you have a bigger 50MP set with a large 1/1.35-inch sensor size and an f/1.6 aperture, which is 12% better at capturing light compared to the one on the Mi 10 Ultra.
This is combined with better optical image stabilisation that is capable of countering 3° of shake, helping you to prevent blurring in tricky conditions.
The ultrawide camera has the same 12MP resolution but has a wider 120° field of view, and the telephoto lens delivers 3x optical zoom, attached to a 10MP sensor.
Samsung has improved its computational photography software to offer more natural skin tones and better low light performance with its AI-powered Nightography capabilities.
Performance Specifications
Under the hood, it’s powered by Samsung’s newest Exynos 2500 chipset in global markets, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in North America.
Both are running on 3nm process tech, which should provide great efficiency. It packs 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options that include 128GB up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Featuring a much larger and direct contact area than the previous, the new Vapor Chamber technology delivers efficient heat transfer while preventing overheating during an epic gaming session or an intensive multitasking session.
Battery Endurance
One of the most major upgrades is a battery capacity of 4,900-mAh – an almost 10% improvement over that of the S24.
The bigger battery and efficient chip also means Samsung has said all-day battery life, even for heavy users, independent of how many watch faces you look at.
Charging options comprise 45W fast charging with wired charging, which gives a 50% charge in about 20min, 15W fast charging with wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging with accessories.
One UI Evolution
Software and features The Galaxy S25 5G runs One UI 7.0 on top of Android 15, which adds a new look and feel to the interface, easier one-handed use and new customization options.
Samsung says the Galaxy XCover Pro will be supported for seven years of OS upgrades and security patches, showing long-term support and care for the device.

Samsung Galaxy S25 5G: Market Position
It starts at ₹74,999 for the base 8GB/128GB variant, meaning you can expect to pay a handsome amount if you are going for the most powerful version of the Galaxy S21 5G.
The 12GB/512GB edition is the other high-end variant and is priced at ₹89,999 aimed at the hard users who want the highest performance and capacity possible.
The S25 5G is expected to do well in India, where Samsung has built a strong brand following, industry analysts say.
Meanwhile, the enhanced camera system and battery life are two of the most important concern for smartphone buyers in this price range, and longer software support provides more competitive features that are hard for the rivals to catch up with.
You or anyone else interested in the S25 5G can pre-order it today, as Samsung has officially started pre-orders and the phone is set to go on sale next week, directly through Samsung.com, pre-authorized retail partners, and on major e-commerce websites across the country.
